The Hanyang Global Academic Courses (HYGAC) are structured to occur from December 22, 2025, to January 9, 2026, affording participants the opportunity to enroll in curricula at Hanyang University. These courses are offered in a face-to-face instructional modality with full English-language pedagogy.
Purposefully designed to deliver a unique educational encounter, HYGAC is crafted to provide students worldwide with access to high-quality academic programs at Hanyang University, one of South Korea’s preeminent higher education institutions.
Specifically tailored for postgraduate students, the program aims to expand global intellectual outlooks, foster cross-cultural discourse, and augment academic competence within a dynamic and diverse learning ecosystem.
This initiative offers an invaluable prospect to acquaint participants with Hanyang University’s curriculum while accumulating academic credit hours. Students may register for up to two courses, earning a total of six credits upon satisfactory completion.

The graduate-level courses encompass a broad spectrum of disciplines, including Finance, Marketing, and Korean Studies. - A Substantial Interpersonal Experience
The campus hosts 30 distinct student clubs. Furthermore, structured activities such as ice-breaking sessions and club competitions are organized, providing opportunities to foster meaningful relationships and friendships with peers from diverse geographical backgrounds. - Academic Achievement Recognition
Each course in the program comprises 45 contact hours, equivalent to 3 credits within Hanyang University’s credit system. Upon successful completion of course assessments, participants will receive official academic transcripts issued by Hanyang University.
Eligible Applicants
Applicants must satisfy all of the following criteria:
- Individuals who demonstrate interest in the offered courses, with eligibility limited to postgraduate students.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and exhibit adequate English proficiency to engage in in-class academic activities and fulfill course-related academic obligations.
- Applicants should maintain good physical and mental health, thereby enabling full participation in the respective courses.
Admission Procedure
- Consult with the program advisor to confirm eligibility for courses.
- The program advisor will assist in compiling the required application documentation and facilitating submission for review by Hanyang University.
- Hanyang University will forward official approval documents via email upon application acceptance.
- Complete registration for the courses following official acceptance and pay tuition fees by the deadline.
- Receive the student handbook and await course commencement notification. Prior to enrolling, students are required to obtain pre-approval for credit transfer from their home institution.
